People who are familiar with its performance think that it is a kind of bulk material conveying method which should be preferred. The application of tubular belt conveyor is basically unlimited, any material can be used. The typical materials transported are ore, coal, coke, limestone, gravel, shale and alluvial soil. Some very difficult materials such as steel concentrate, petroleum coke, clay, waste slag, concrete, metal slag, humidified fly ash, tailings, bauxite and filter dust can also be transported by tubular belt conveyor.。
Design points of tubular belt conveyor

It is similar to ordinary conveyor belt, but uses some special technology in design. The belts of tubular belt conveyors are manufactured by Bridgestone and its authorized companies in Japan. The conveyor belt must be rigid so as to form and maintain a circular tube when passing through the idler group; at the same time, it must also have certain flexibility to ensure that the conveyor belt can pass through the transition section, roll into a circular tube in the line through the feeding section, and discharge the material through the roller in a flat state. Rubber layer can be added between fabric layers of conveyor belt to meet the above requirements. In order to make the conveyor belt have the required rigidity and flexibility, a special skeleton structure must be adopted. In order to ensure that the lap joint is well sealed and prevent material leakage, the rigidity of the conveyor belt edge should be reduced. Furthermore, it is necessary to control the thickness of the upper and lower rubber layers and vulcanization times, so as to improve the ability of the conveyor belt to naturally tend to round tube. For long-distance tubular belt conveyor, the conveyor belt can also adopt steel rope core structure. At this time, one layer of transverse fabric is laid on the top and bottom of the steel wire rope. Just like the fabric core conveyor belt structure, there is a layer of rubber between the fabric and the wire rope. In case of emergency repair, metal joint or ordinary conveyor belt can be used temporarily to maintain for a long time. Ordinary conveyor belts do not have the required rigidity and flexibility, resulting in permanent core delamination, fatigue or other unpredictable problems. However, the advantages of ordinary conveyor belt are simple structure, low manufacturing cost and low price. Sometimes it can be used as a substitute for pipe conveyor belt. When used in general purpose belt conveyor, the service life of tubular belt conveyor belt and ordinary belt is actually the same. The cleaning device of tubular belt conveyor is the same as that of general belt conveyor, single scraper and multi blade belt sweeper, rotary brush and empty section cleaner can be applied. The conveyor belt of specially manufactured tubular belt conveyor can be used for conveying hot materials. The operating temperature of standard conveyor belt can reach 60 ゜ C (140 ゜ f), and the allowable temperature of two kinds of hot material specification conveyor belt can reach 110 ゜ C (230 ゜ f) and 160 ゜ C (320 ゜ f). In the selection of conveyor belt, the material particle size and belt surface temperature must be specially considered. The very hot belt surface will have a significant impact on the belt life.
